The Saudi Arabian club continues its sensational search for top players in Europe. After bringing in Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, another Arab club Al Hilal is now targeting Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) star Neymar to Saudi Arabia.

Al Hilal should target Lionel Messi. However, the 35-year-old player chose to leave European football, continuing his career with Inter Miami after his contract ended together PSG. Al Hilal also targeted his best friend Messi, Neymar.

As reported by CBS Sports football correspondents, Ben Jacobs and James Benge, Al Hilal is trying to complete the transfer of the 31-year-old player Neymar to Saudi Arabia. Representatives from Al Hilal have reportedly left for Paris to negotiate with PSG.

"Exclusive: Al Hilal considering a transfer for Neymar to Saudi Arabia after failing to sign Lionel Messi. Club representatives flew to Paris on Friday," Jacobs said on Twitter.

"Contact with players. Not yet with PSG, who are hoping for a big offer but are very open to selling."

Neymar has defended PSG since 2017 after his transfer broke the world record at a price of 222 million euros from Barcelona. Six years at PSG, Neymar achieved success on the domestic scene but has yet to deliver the Champions League title.

Apart from that, Neymar has also been injured a lot because his playing style triggers violations from opponents. If Neymar plays in Saudi Arabia, then the collection of European stars there will increase with Ronaldo, Benzema, and N'Golo Kante who also reportedly joined Al Ittihad.

The Brazilian's contract expires in 2025 and PSG expects at least less than 200 million euros for him. PSG opened up the possibility of leaving Neymar as well as the end of the contracts of Messi and Sergio Ramos.
